About the MOC
I felt like doing another Mini MOC to distract me from the current MOC(as of writing this) that's giving me all kinds of problems. So I figured what way to vent MOCing frustration than to build a Mini-MOC, and also continue to prove that its not just big MOCs I can build.
Nekhbet came about from tinkering, and attatching the claw piece onto the Hero Factory armor part and saying to myself "Oh hey, that looks like a Vulture, neato!" That then lead me to build the rest.
Nekhbet's name is taken from a Predynistic egyptian Goddess who is the patron of the city of Nekheb. I was struggling to find a name I liked and I just came across it, and Egyptian mythology is one of my favorite sources for inspiration. They hieroglyphs in the bottom right hand corner are "Nekhbet" written in hieroglyphics.

Bio
Nehkbets are small scavenger rahi that pose little threat to just about anything, will befriend any sentient being willing to feed them and not treat them with any hostility, and generally reside in arid regions such as Po-koro or Po-Metru. Most Matoran don't bother them since they help keep pests away. Some do if their business or trade are small animals or insects as Nekhbeks will boldly fly in to a home, shop, or the bazaar to swipe a quick meal.
Handling Nekhbek's can be difficult to weaker entities such as Matoran since their outer bodies are made of protodermis that can get scorching hot from being perched in the sun all day. Po-Matoran like to kid that Nekhbeks would be a Ta-Matoran's best friend if they preferred to live there. :P

Just goes to show you don't need to make something overly complicated to be awesome. Good job :)

Mind if I borrow the design I will change some things but I really like how it looks like a bird.

Very nice. That'd be cool. You wouldn't be the first to recreate this MOC. :iconwdenniz: remade it. He showed it to me. :P I think this one's going to get recreated a lot actually.

The same things I said on MOCpages. Love how simple it is, and how functional and beautiful at the same time. Is pretty hard to make a decent bird which can extend and fold its wings, and look good in both ways. One of my favourites from you!

(P.S: I know you have better creations like Matteo or Kutumah, but ah, I love simplicity <3)
